Education Programs
School teachers, clubs, scout troops, and home school groups can call to request an education program.

Programs can be created for any topic and amount of time.
Ralph Mitchell Zoo offers school groups a guided tour through the zoo.
- Tours are first come first serve and we limit the number of tours per day.
- Tours are regulated to 30-40 people, or one class.
- Tours typically last about 45 minutes.
Snake Feedings:
Snakes are fed every other Thursday from 11:00am - 12:00 pm. A keeper will be available to answer questions about our snakes and any other zoo or animal questions.
Donkey Walkabouts:
The donkey is walked on Saturdays from 10:30am -11:00 am when weather and staff availability permits.
Jenny was born at the Ralph Mitchell Zoo in 1986. She loves all visitors but especially children, however, we ask when you come to visit that you do not feed her as she has a health condition.
Donkeys, like all animals, can still be startled. Please do not run or shout when you approach her being walked.
