- July receipts totaled $169,308, which is an INCREASE of $1,917 from July 2018, or up 1.1% (see Graph 2, “July 1% Sales Tax 10 Year History”).
- Sales tax receipts are up 3.8 percent for the first seven months of 2019, totaling $1,173,283, which is $43,204 over the first seven months total in 2018 of $1,130,079.• On a straight‐line projection, sales tax budgeted for FY2019, with seven months reported, would project total 2019 receipts at $2,011,342 or $56,253 over our FY2018 actual amount of $1,955,089.
- Also, on a straight‐line projection sales tax budgeted for FY2019, with seven months reported, would project $80,242 over our budgeted amount of $1,931,100; this would be 4.2 percent higher than the budget.
- After seven months, we have collected 60.8% of our budgeted amount.
- July 2019 amount is the highest dollar amount for the month of July since 2015 (see Graph 2, “July 1% Sales Tax 10 Year History”).
- The Compensating Use sales tax portion made up 14.3 percent of the $169,308 total ($24,218) (see Graph 5 “2019 1% Sales Tax – Monthly/Compensating Use Sales Tax and
Sales Tax.”).
