Pandemic Flu Information

This kit contains information to help you and your family prepare for an Influenza Pandemic. The information contained in this kit has been gathered from Federal, State and Local sources. It is being provided to you as a guideline of things you should do to be prepared for a Flu Pandemic. If a pandemic occurs in our community, services that you are accustomed to may not be readily available. For example; Food supplies may become limited during a pandemic period. The local medical system may become overloaded and unable to handle all of your medical needs.

Being prepared is one of the ways you can help yourself and family. Being prepared yourself will also assist your local community in providing services to those who need help. Also keep in mind that during a Pandemic period, assistance from Federal and State agencies will also be limited. Local agencies may become overloaded causing a reduction in services. If you are prepared you will be less likely to need assistance from Federal, State and Local agencies.

This pamphlet can be downloaded in PDF format.
